What people are saying about New P's:
“ As soon as I walked into Diana’ group, I felt at home. It wasn’t until I started going that I realized just how much I needed to connect with other mom’s regularly to share both the highs and the lows of being a new parent. Diana was always ready to share her knowledge both as a n experienced mom and from her work with infants, and was quick to reassure the ever-worried new mom that yes this was normal and the baby would grow up just fine.
Even though Eowyn is older, I still meet up regularly with the friends I made in First Weeks (now- New P.’s) for play dates with the kids as well as time to connect with the other parents.”
Ellen P. Blanchard, mother to Eowyn.
“The most important thing I got out of First Weeks( now- New P.’s) was inclusion in a community of people ( moms and dads) that were going thru the same thing as myself. We were-and are- all learning to be parents at the same time! I wasn’t alone in the way I was feeling( overwhelmed, over-tired, discouraged)- it really helped me to hear other moms talking about the same feelings and emotions.
And now we get together on our own- I have made new friends and I have a great group of people that I will be raising my child with, he already has friends-could it get any better?! I have friends with children, but those kids are older—meeting people with children Lennon’s age has been really great!”
Jessie Cunningham, mother to Lennon
“The First Weeks ( now- New P.’s) class was an invaluable resource for me to meet other moms, get advice and suggestions for problems, and to share in the joy of parenthood. I can’t imagine what I would have done without the support, friendship and counsel from Diana and the other moms that I met in this group”
Jennifer McGill, mother to Eva
I still attribute my survival over those first few months to joining you, Diana and the other new Moms/babies for First Weeks(now New P.’s). I'm thrilled to still be meeting with the other "Firehouse Moms" on Saturdays - and we all remember those first few months with our Friday meetings fondly. You'd be so amazed It’s amazing to see how much all of the babies have changed and what they're all up to!
